Chocolate-Marshmellow-Ganache-Buttercream

Not sure what to call these! I was ambitious and decided to do an extra recipe this week. I wanted to do a chocolate cupcake, from scratch, and then Casey had the idea of putting Marshmellow Cream in the center. Then, I originally was only planning on doing a chocolate ganache on top. However, whenever I did it, I did NOT like the way it looked! So, then Casey suggested that I do a different frosting, so I made a chocolate buttercream. Honestly, I think they turned out better because they had both frostings! The only thing I would do differently is take them out of the oven a little sooner, because the smaller ones got a little dry. However, when they sat overnight with the marshmellow cream in the center, it made them a lot more moist! I took a bunch to school and gave them to the teachers and almost every teacher LOVED them. One even said "this is the best cupcake I have ever had!" and she is like the best baker I have ever known! If I do these again, especially to sell, I'll come up with a more creative name!

Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes

My first cupcake recipe helped us get even more in the mood for Fall! These cupcakes are SUPER yummy! The cupcakes were very moist and flavorful, and the icing was SO creamy and tasty!

The cupcakes are flavored with real pumpkin, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, and cinnamon.

The icing is flavored with maple syrup and vanilla.
